[Starting a Successful Blog] Lesson 17
Welcome back! Guess what? Today we're going to crash test your website!
Just kidding... It's not that hardcore but what we're really going to do is to do some testing.
If you haven't uploaded your blog posts, go get it done!
Final Testing & Checks
Really it's just making sure
- There are no broken links, which simply means, if there's any links inside your blog posts or pages, it should lead you to the correct website or webpage. If it's broken, it means that the link is not working correctly and you might see an error page instead.
- No grammatical and spelling errors in your content! This is tougher than above because self-editing can really be a pain in the butt. SO! Get a third eye to help you look through your content!
So normally, I will click on every link on my website. Read through every page and look through every piece of content myself before I get a friend to look through my website for me.
Before you think of skipping this lesson, it's something you've got to do to make sure your website is all ready for visitors!
Can you imagine links not working or your content is littered with errors?
A first bad impression on your visitors = they are most likely not going to return!
Okay, enough said. It's your turn now to test the links on your websites and check for grammatical and spelling errors.
