Ah ha...
This is the part where I am more interested in.
What are the other ways to make money writing?
Apart from selling your services as a copywriter, there are a couple of ways writers do make money online these days.
I will share the coolest ones with you first!
And keep your eyes peeled for
- A FREE masterclass
- A FREE online workshop
- A FREE eBook
Let's go!
- Teach Someone with An Email-Course
Something like this email course you're in right now, you can create a course that teaches someone something that you're really passionate about. If it's a solid power-packed course, you can sell the course on platforms like
If you're unsure how to get around to creating your own course, you can register for the next FREE Product Creation Masterclass: Build Your First Product and Earn Your First Dollar In 30 Days by ConvertKit!
- Self-Publishing
As you can see in the previous point, self-publishing is a big deal these days. Getting published is not as difficult as it used to be. You can definitely write, design and publish an eBook from scratch! And prices go from $0.99 up to $299 on kindle and on blogs.
Then of course you can always opt to learn how to write an eBook from scratch by yourself (it took me a year to figure it all out) or you can attend a free online workshop: How to Go From Blank Page to Published Author in 90 Days (which I didn't had the luxury to attend then) and learn how to "write, publish, and launch a bestselling book in as little as 90 days".
Thanks to the generosity of Chandler Bolt, the author and founder, you will get a free copy of his bestselling book, "Book Launch" with 590 reviews on Amazon when you sign up for his free online workshop today!
- Affiliate Marketing
If you haven't heard of affiliate marketing before, it simply means promoting a product that's not yours and making a commission when it gets sold. The cool thing is, you don't have to deal with the inventory, shipping, payments, refunds and exchanges etc.
So obviously you're reading this email because you heard about The Write Motive, which was created with aspiring writers and to-be bloggers like yourself in mind to develop online profit-making skill-sets.
Check out this free email list where you will receive emails on ebooks that are available at a dollar each.
The cooler thing about Buck Books is that you too can submit your eBooks at the bottom of the Buck Books homepage and they will be sold to their huge free email list of subscribers! Another way to make $$$.
Also useful for you for you to recommend this to your readers who love reading either by mentioning Buck Books or by having the ad inside a blog post. For every email subscriber you refer, you get $1. While that's not a lot of money, it can be extra pocket money to cover your hosting fees! Become a Buck Books affiliate here.
You can become an affiliate with Self-Publishing School and recommend the Self-Publishing School For First Time Authors - Master Class or Pro Class to those aspiring to publish their own books. It's a win-win since they can learn how to become a published author in just 90 days and you can earn up to 40.0% to 50% commissions on every successful sign-up.
- Blogging
You must be thinking... how does anyone make money blogging?
A couple of ways:
- Product endorsements & reviews
Brands and merchants approach you and PAY you to write about their products because you have a huge reader base! Basically when you promote their products to your readers, it's advertisement for them.
But think about it, don't sell to your readers any product for the sake of money. Simply because, before you know it, you will be losing your readers!
So! You gotta know what your blog is all about before you pick and choose the relevant and best products that you think will benefit and give value to your readers.
Apart from product endorsements & reviews, having a professional website with a blog means that you can have ads on your sidebar and in between the paragraphs of your blog posts.
Again, it shouldn't be some random unrelated ad, as much as you can.
These days it's all about contextual advertising. Meaning your ad must be relevant to the content and topic of your blog post.
- Affiliate marketing (as elaborated above)
As with contextual advertising, usually you recommend affiliate products and services that you are a customer of, or you have used the product and like it, or at the very least, it has to be useful and beneficial for your readers.
Lots of free goodies in this lesson, aye?
